CIVICA PTO
WHO WE ARE:
The purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at CIVICA, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, and to improve the environment at CIVICA through volunteer and financial support.
Because CIVICA Colorado is a charter school, they do not receive funding from the school district like public schools. Supporting the PTO helps fill in some of those gaps. We are federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization.
Our goal this year is to provide fieldtrip transportation so every student can have 1 off campus experience this school year. To support these goals, we plan on having 2 main fundraisers this school year: a Fun Run in September and candy bar sales early next year. We will also have some restaurant fundraisers during the year.
We meet on the first Monday of the month at 5:30pm at the school. We are a fun group that loves supporting our school and each other.
